Founded by Norman A. Brodersen in 1963 at Compton Airport, California, Aircraft Windshield Company began as a specialized aviation windshield manufacturer. Norman's vision was to create custom windshields with unmatched optical quality using advanced thermoforming techniques for acrylic plastic transparencies.

Norman A. Brodersen founded Aircraft Windshield Company in a hangar at Compton Airport, California, focusing on aviation windshield manufacturing.
1965
Company relocated to Los Alamitos, California, expanding our manufacturing capabilities and establishing our permanent headquarters.
1975
Mark Brodersen, Norman's son, joined the company, beginning the second generation of family leadership and expertise.
1980
